NCA5 public engagement workshop: multiple stressors, interactions, and complex systems

The Fifth National Climate Assessment includes a chapter on multiple stressors and interactions in complex systems. Please join the chapter authors for a workshop on January 18, from noon until 2 PM. The 2-hour session is an opportunity to share your thoughts on climate-related issues most important to include. We would like to hear how the chapter and its resources could be useful to you. The workshop is free and open to the public.

For climate impacts and responses, the discussion topics will include (1) the chapter’s framework for assessing complexity, (2) the lived experiences shaping needs for resources and support, and (3) learned practices in managing complex interactions.
